Megan and "Coach" Mike were married at the Spring Valley Country Club on July 13th, 2013. I walked into Spring Valley and found the most unique "table cards" I have ever seen at a wedding. Megan had cleverly found a photo of every single one of her guests, (about 200 pictures), and created a photo magnet with their table number. What a special way to make everyone feel welcome at the wedding. The guests couldn't help but laugh and smile when they found the picture Megan chose to use for them! As the night went on, I realized that those table cards were a perfect example of Megan's great sense of humor, and love for her friends and family. Mike and Megan wrote their own vows to each other. Instead of reciting them, they each had their mothers read the vows aloud. Even though the vows were written separately, they included many references to the same moments and similar jokes. It was clear they were a perfect match! The reception decor was elegant and classy. Instead of flowers for table centerpieces, Megan had a dessert tower with delicately designed red velvet cupcakes that were quite tempting. I was so excited when I was offered one later in the evening, and they were just as delicious as they looked! After the wild and crazy wedding party introductions with Hulk Hogan look alikes, dancers doing the robot, blow horns/smoke, the newlyweds came out dancing to "All I do is Win" and the energy and excitement in the room was incredible! Later on in the evening, the guests were entertained by the wedding party's rendition of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song, complete with a guest dancing the "Carleton"- a great surprise for the Megan and Mike. A short time after, I think every person in the room shed a tear as Megan's surprise dedication came over the speakers during her dance with her father. (Including me..) :) After all of the formal events were complete, Megan and Mike couldn't wait to start dancing! Next Level Entertainment played the incredible music that kept the dance floor packed all night long. Everyone wished the night would never end, and when the lights turned on and the music stopped, the guests kept the party going by singing their own songs...including singing the national anthem all the way out into the parking lot!! Megan and Mike, thank you so much for inviting me to capture your wedding memories. I had so much fun! Best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness, today and always!! |
